Abstract

The aim of this mini-review is to shortly review the scientific literature on the development of identity in adolescence and then subsequently shift the attention to the influence of sporting activity on the construction of the self. For the review of the literature, searches were made almost mainly on google scholar and pub med using keywords on the topic "adolescent identity and the influence of sport on it". By the rewiew emerged that there is a strong influence of the sport on the construction of identity in adolescence.
