Abstract

The author, starting from psychological, neuroscientific, and sociological research on the effects of violence on television, proposes an examination of research on the effects of exhibitionist behaviour on the Internet, especially among adolescents. These attitudes, which are often linked to a typical indecisive adolescent sexuality and a need for identity reassurance, in turn facilitate child pornography, which can lead to actual paedophile abuse. The article reiterates the gratuitousness of childish desire and its playful significance, which cannot be short-circuited in a sexual relationship with an adult.
