Abstract

The article analyzes some motivations of the disappearance of hysteria, retracing the novelties of the Freudian theory of hysteria (and the rereading of feminist theories), comes to a phenomenological-relational reinterpretation of hysterical symptomatology. This perspective, which focuses on the experiences (and not on the symptoms) of the disease, allows to diagnose the pathology even when hidden by simulating other psychic pathologies to set the most suitable therapeutic path.
